Enforcing and additions of Rules Empty Enforcing and additions of Rules

Hello everyone, SpiralShowdown from now on will be enforcing some of our current rules and some changes are being made to how we approach our tournament staffing.

  • You must reply to the tournament thread or use battlefy to sign up for the tournament you wish to participate in before the 15 minute grace period is over. If you're not signed up by then the tournament bracket will be seeded and no one else may join. WE WILL NO LONGER BE SIGNING PEOPLE UP IT WASTES TIME BETTER SPENT

  • You must now sign up using the following format for submitting pirates (Both for 2v2)
    Website Username:Pirate Name:Class

  • YOU MAY NOT USE SOMEONE ELSES CHARACTER YOU MUST USE YOUR OWN THIS IS AGAINST THE GAMES ToS AND IS BANNABLE. We let this slide for some people (TheRealest) as it only just came up, but from now on doing anything against the Pirate101 ToS is also bannable on our site.

  • It's your responsibility to know the rules. The staff do not need to tell you any rule(s) even if asked if it's already stated on the rules (Glitches or confusion may be discussed) but if you did not read the rules it's your own fault. Deal with the DQ that may become of it and make sure to read them. They're publicly available to everyone. It's hard for our Showdown Master (Who do this out of there own free time) to also enjoy the benefits of weekly competitive tournaments when they're enforcing rules easily accessible by the player themselves.

  • The Grizzly Beast Banner (All Stars 1-3) is BANNED from all forms of pvp, this means 1v1-4v4 unless special rules are stated.

  • Old Scratch is now limited to only using his "Mojo Flow" (+25%) power. This means "Mo Mojo Flow" And "Flow Mojo, Flow!" ARE BANNED in 1v1 only (Scratch is still banned in 2v2-4v4)

Post by Edward Teach Tue Mar 29, 2016 7:25 pm

Hi there

Thanks for posting this. I hope to participate in more of these soon. I am wondering what is meant by DQ.

Thanks your time

DQ= disqualification

Any breaking of the rules for rhe given tournament will result in an immediate disqualification. We strongly suggest that everyone read and know the rules inside and out to prevent DQs to provide more focus on having fun, as opposed to being worried about breaking a rule.
